I was sleeping in my bed
Dreaming dreams I can't recall
Thoughts and memories running through my head

The significant show of hope and faith
The one ever-constant change
In its light I long to bathe

Haunted by hurtful demons
Close my eyes and wish me away

Neglected the light, immersed in self
Out of my depression, I need to be strong

The day is long, the sun's still out
It's time for me to go and play.

I wanted to wake up at 6 and climb the drumlin behind the residence building to see the sun rise. I woke up at 7.45 instead, and missed a spectacular show. Hopefully, I'll be able to see it tomorrow.
